You read that right, this bomb-like gadget you see is actually a piggy bank. I reckon they shaped it like that to scare you into saving up. According to sources, this nefarious-looking piggy bank beeps, shines, vibrates and the afterwards, EXPLODES and blows everyone to smithereens…just kidding. But yes, reports say it actually explodes so you’d never forget to feed it coins, though what they meant by the piggy bank exploding, I have no idea. I guess people will just have to find out — this piggy bomb is made available to the market this week by the manufacturer, TOMY Co., and retails at around JPY3,000.

Our Japanese friends sure are lucky. As for the rest of us, well, we’ll have to eat our hearts out.
