Yep, you read that right. That’s Chipuya and not Shibuya. Media Groove, a Japanese mobile tech company has recently released a fashionista-centric keitai (Japanese mobile) RPG.

Basically, you create your avatar or character, and then roam the world of Chipuya town (Shibuya in real life). You can mingle with the avatars of other users. Before you can shop in trendy Chipuya, you must first earn some money by completing quests and tasks. Chipuya’s currency is called “Grooves.” When you have e-cash, you can then go shop, shop and then shop some more. Nothing like virtual shopping in this world, right? Especially when you’re short on cash and your inner monster is kicking in.
